Many of Ford's vehicles are going electric, like the classic F-150. If you hope that one of Ford's non-truck cars will follow the same path, you're in luck. The Mustang has an all-electric version out now: the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E.

The Mustang Mach-E has the power and precision to create enjoyable drives on the roads of West Point, King William, and Williamsburg, Virginia. If you want to learn a little more about the Mustang Mach-E, look below.

West Point Ford has put together a review so that you can learn all about this all-electric muscle SUV!

Mach-E Performance and Electric Power

The 2022 Mustang Mach-E is an all-electric vehicle. That means it uses a battery and motors to get it moving-no gas. You have two options for batteries:

  • Standard Range battery
  • Extended Range battery

The Standard Range battery generates 266 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque with rear-wheel drive (RWD). If you prefer electric all-wheel drive (eAWD), you get a bit more torque-totaling 428 lb-ft. Plus, with this battery, you'll get an EPA-estimated range of 230 miles on a full charge.

The second option, the Extended Range battery, gives you a little bit more power-coming to 290 horsepower with RWD and 346 horsepower with eAWD. You'll get the same torque as the Standard Range battery, but this one lets you go a little bit farther, with an EPA-estimated 305-mile range.

Mustang Mach-E Interior

The interior of the 2022 Mach-E offers several luxury features. The infotainment system has an impressive 15.5-inch touchscreen and works with SYNC® 4A technology. Enhanced voice recognition helps you keep your hands on the wheel, while in-vehicle navigation makes sure you never get lost.

Other features include:

  • Speed-compensated volume control
  • SiriusXM® with 360L
  • Bluetooth® capability

The seating in the Mustang Mach-E is with ActiveXâ„¢ material-one that's similar to leather. Stylistic choices like blue or red stitching are available. Available heated front seats help keep the chill of winter out. Available driver's seat memory ensures you never lose that perfect driving position.

Mustang Mach-E Safety

While the Mustang Mach-E has many regular safety features you'd expect in a car, like airbags, you'll also get a few tech features that help keep you safe. They are part of the Ford Co-Pilot360â„¢ 2.0 tech suite.

Some features included in this suite are:

  • Auto High-Beam Headlamps
  • Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Rear View Camera

To help you stay in your lane, the standard Lane-Keeping System keeps an eye on your vehicle's position within your lane and lets you know if you begin to drift unintentionally.

BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert tells you if a vehicle is in your blind spot. When you're pulling out of a parking space or a driveway, the system can tell you if a car is approaching from the left or right side behind your vehicle.
