What is Ford Blue Advantage?

Ford’s certified pre-owned vehicles fall under the Ford Blue Advantage program. This program is created by Ford, the manufacturer, for Ford dealerships to sell CPO Ford models. Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicles are divided into three categories:

• Blue Certified

• EV Certified

• Gold Certified

Blue Certified vehicles must be up to 10 years old with less than 150,000 miles on the odometer and also pass a 139-point inspection. Blue-certified models can be any vehicle make/model, not just Fords. This is a great option for many who prefer an older car and aren’t specifically devoted to brand.

EV Certified vehicles are Ford electric cars that have earned the CPO title. These models are six model years old or younger, with less than 80,000 miles, and pass a 127-point inspection. Go green while still getting the pre-owned vehicle that fits your lifestyle.

Gold Certified vehicle criteria are a little stricter. These Ford models must be up to six years old with less than 80,000 miles odometer and pass a 172-point inspection. Gold Certified vehicles can be hybrid or gas models, trucks or sedans or SUVs, and anything in between.
