There are specific criteria that a vehicle must meet in order to earn the Ford Blue Advantage title. It will fit into one of two certification tiers-Gold tier or Blue tier.
To earn a Blue certification, a vehicle must be 10 model years old or less and have less than 120,000 miles on the odometer. It will be put through-and pass-a 139-point inspection, as well.
A Gold certification requires a Ford to be under six model years old, with less than 80,000 miles on the odometer. A vehicle will pass a 172-point inspection to earn Gold certification. This inspection will include key components of the car, such as:

Gold Certified vehicles have slightly different benefits. You'll receive a 12-month/12,000-mile comprehensive limited warranty and a 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty. In addition, you'll receive 22,000 FordPassâ„¢ Rewards Points to use toward your first two maintenance visits.
