Meet the Ford Escape

The Escape is a versatile SUV with plenty of power and engine options. The standard 1.5L EcoBoost® I-3 engine offers 181 horsepower when working with the 8-speed automatic transmission.

Cloth seats are standard, although you can upgrade to available ActiveX™-trimmed seating or leather-trimmed seating. Optional dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control keeps you and your co-pilot comfortable even if you can't decide on one temperature.

The available SYNC® 3 infotainment system lets you add a little something extra to your drives, whether that's your favorite song or the latest podcast. In addition to this tech, the Escape also has standard driver-assistive systems, like:

  • Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Rear View Camera
  • Lane-Keeping System

Each driver-assistive system can help prevent accidents or act as a second set of eyes on the road. You can even add on additional safety features to make the Ford Escape as safe as you want.

Selecting the Right Escape for You

The Escape has 10 trim levels to choose from. However, they primarily can be separated into three categories:

  • Gas Engine
  • Hybrid Engine
  • Plug-In Hybrid Engine

If you're looking for the greenest option, the plug-in hybrid options may be for you. You plug in your vehicle to charge and use gas only when you need it.

The SE, SEL, and Titanium trims each have plug-in hybrid and hybrid engine options. The S trim, the base level, is only available with a gas engine.

The highest level trims, like the Titanium, offer premium features, including available leather-trimmed seats, an optional 10-speaker B&O® Sound System by Bang & Olufsen®, and in-vehicle navigation.
